How credits work
You always know what an AI task can cost
Credits are consumed according to the AI usage each task actually measures, never more than the maximum you saw before it started.
One-time purchase

Manual edits are free
Changing text, images, links, colors or layout yourself never uses credits.
Our failures aren’t charged
If a task fails because of Frontdesign, you pay nothing and the reservation is released.
How each AI task is billed

Estimate
Before anything runs, you see the expected cost and the maximum the task may use.

Reserve
The maximum is reserved from your balance. A task can’t start if it isn’t covered.

Run and measure
Each AI call is measured. If the task needs more than its reservation, it pauses and asks you first.

Settle
You’re charged for the usage actually measured, and the rest of the reservation is released.
Example. A typical page generation reserves 8.4 credits ($0.84). If it measures 3.9 credits of AI usage, 3.9 are charged and 4.5 go straight back to your balance.
